I'd love to see some of the guys on here try that, it's really tricky when you can't see the trailer and it only has 2 wheels.
Although the person driving obviously doesn't know the secret to reversing a trailer.
So lets see how many of you know the secret.

Being completely honest anytime I've had my car on the trailer (16ft) and tried reversing it hasn't been pretty.
So about this secret then......

Reversing something which is nearly or equal in length to whats towing it is pretty tricky, car & trailer, class 2 drawbar etc...
Much harder than say an artic.
You only need the smallest bit of lock to get the trailer turning, once it's turning you need to straighten up your lock or it soon goes right round.
Still pretty funny though

I agree, I can imagine that actually being very difficult due to the small size of it. Much better just to unhitch and push it instead as someone has already mentioned!
When I reverse using the tractor, I find it a lot easier reversing a big 4 wheeled trailer on the back, compared to a smaller 2 wheeled machine hitched on the back.

The secret is practice.
The more often you drive with a trailer, the less you think about it when reversing. I find the more I find myself thinking about it every time I reverse the worse the result.

I remember when I first drove an artic, I always had to talk myself through the reversing..."I want the trailer to go right, left hand down..." lol.

Driving in reverse is easy enough, driving in reverse with something attached to the back end is the problem lol.

if the trailer is straight behind you, when you start reversing put one hand at 12 o'clock on the steering wheel, then watch in your mirrors (equal view of trailer in both mirrors), if your not going straight, the trailer will get bigger in one mirror, just move your hand (and wheel) towards that mirror and it will get smaller
you know you want to go out and try it now

When your pulling up to where your planning on reversing into, do so in such a manner so as to have the back of the trailer pointing where you want it to go and take it from there.

As a class1 driver. The smaller the trailer the harder. Unhitched g n pushin would have saved the embarrassment. But that's funny. Love it.

You want to see the back of my car mate.
I'd blame the Missus, but she refuses to drive it.
