That's a load of rubbish as I added my postcode which is a very sought after and nice area and it was the most deprived yet some place not far from me which are full of lowlifes is the least deprived

Yes, but they're out robbing stuff from good deprived areas, and hence increasing the 'value' of their area with your goods

As above, doesn't cover Wales.

Looks about right for the area I used to like in though Rough areas surrounding nicer areas!

I've put in a few postcodes from various areas I've lived and I have to agree with it. It looks fairly accurate to me.

Mid table which doesn't add up
As my council tax and parish tax is one of the highest in Cumbria
Because some councillor spent thousands on Xmas lights , camels and reindeer
And statues

All within budget I cry
Quite an wealthy area

So not really a true picture of the five different postcodes I tried

You could also go off how much you pay to insure an Impreza, if it's next door to the local council estate they pick a number out of the telephone directory, triple it and then say that's our cheapest as long as you agree to a 5 grand excess

..........Likely from the Jarman Score / Index. Not at all accurate and in terms of health usually means giving surestart packs to middle class mums.

Pretty much. If you live in an area where lots of cars are stolen and high 'cash for crash' claims most insurers will refuse to quote, or put a silly high price.

On the plus side, those in 'better' areas probably pay twice as much for property.... so it's swings and roundabouts really.

I'm apparently in a browny beige 'least deprived' area, and I'd tend to agree with that. Lovely here it is.

And a few miles down the road from our rural Garden of Eden is Leicester, in a lovely blue, and UK City of Culture 2017 finalist. How could it get better than this?

pretty accurate tbh - yellow and green. Certain sections of the town are blue.

Historically accurate and probably wont' change - all that's missing is the 40ft chain-link fence to keep em in and feeding bromide into that estate's water
