As has been pointed out, actually he'd be laughing his socks off from being proved right again. China's rise ( I assume you mean them) is due to a RELAXING of socialism and a INCREASE in capitalism, quite the opposite of what you are incorrectly suggesting. Its almost a poster boy showing how capitalism makes a country rich

It all depends how you define socialism I suppose, I would say China's economy has more in common with that of Ancient Egypt than it does with any socialist paradise
