Never seen a car this low
Saw this bmw 3 series touring at a motorway services this afternoon. The front wheel was tucked nicely under the front arch, but the rear, wooooo. The arch is in between the rim and the stretched tyre.

As far as I'm aware, it's because the wheels are protruding outside the bodywork. That's why Landrover owners with huge wheels have to fit little plastic extenders to the arches to make them wider than the wheels.

Anything protruding outside the bodywork is a no-no. The police can treat it as a defect which has the potential to injure pedestrians.

I saw a VW exactly like that at a show , I told the owner it wasn't low enough just to annoy him. Haven't been to a show since , not my thing anymore.

Whilst this is obviously stupid so is the whole stance scene IMO. Let's take a perfectly good car and spend a load of money making it look sh1te and far less capable! Morons as far as I am concerned!

What a complete end of bell!
Dont understand anyone whod compromise to such an extent how a car drives for how it looks ..... especially when it ends up looking broken!

A mate recently stuck 22s on his VW van. Makes it look like a cartoon van! TBH, he's pretty "Essex!" - it rubs every time he puts on full lock - DOH!!

I've got friends who like these kind of low... One is looks so so so so so bad.
It's like that celica with all that camber just why? What happened to when people liked there cars just lowered enough so there weren't a tank looking gap between the arch and the tyre haha.
One thing I always think aswell what happen is he hits a large pot hole at the back wheel and that arch digs down into the rim ? :S
