I watched one of these ages ago, found myself swearing at the TV and Ive never watched a program like it again. Winds me up something bad when people take the **** while the rest of us get screwed for an honest living! But what can we do, sweet FA!

If the government pays you benefits then the government pays your wage, im all for putting them to work on jobs that no one will take. Get them to do humiliating work that will force them to look for a better job and if they refuse then cut their benefits

Of course in special cases ie disability this wouldnt apply

Being unemployed is one thing but there are thousands of **** takers in Great Britain that have No intention of doing any work what so ever,and are more then happy to get pissed every day and play Xbox and the rub is they have been doing it for years comfortably,I agree with some comments in this thread that they need a good hard kick up the **** and given any sort of work so that they contribute something,IMO I'm sick knowing my taxes go to these kind of people's upkeep.SJ.

I still don't understand what your getting at even if someone does that don't they still need money to get there first foot on the step of the ladder in the first place I.E some form of money work etc...wether you are going to let your property out and let people pay your mortgage and put money In Your pocket I would guess that's there choice but personally just being down right lazy is another different matter altogether.SJ.

I know where you are going with that but I was taking to a relative of my wife and she said they had to go down the private route as there wasn't enough social housing in the area.

So in that sense those that have homes to rent and do so to those on benefits are helping even if they are making from it.

As has been said the title alone is designed to induce hatred so it would hardly be worth watching.

Living off rent is to be unproductive and contribute nothing, the very thing these benefits 'scrounges' are being accused of. What is more a part of these benefits are just going into landlords pockets. They are being really supported by the taxpayer.

Some of the BTL properties were social housing originally. Anyway to rent something is never to actually do something or provide something, it is just to not do something, i.e, not to kick someone out of your BTL house. BTL owners never created the land, that was nature.
