I would rather the conservatives get in than Labour (personal choice) but at the end of the day they are all crooked and out for themselves.
That said I guess like most if in the same position would do the same things.
There's a You-Gov Poll in the Sum tomorrow that shows...
Tories 36%
Labour 36%
UKIP 12%
Lib Dems 10%
Two things struck me about this
1. Labour are toast as they should be miles ahead at this point
2. Are there really that many ******* stupid people prepared to vote UKIP, surely they'll sober up by election day?

How very unfair, I thought.

You say that they do have 12% support and Blair had an outright majority in 2005 with less than triple that amount (35.2%) of the vote.
I personally wouldn't vote for them, but that is neither here nor there.
I wouldn't say they should be denied a voice just because they don't concur with my views on things
I mean we have George Galloway as an MP representing the left - top that for absurdity if you can.
This. I'm happy to take bets from people who are prepared to put their money where their mouth is.
I nailed the local election result and I'm confident on the GE too, all this before the European elections next year (which even the bookies agree that UKIP will be the most popular)
And admittedly unscientific (although they do mention UKIP which YouGov don't specifically ask about) there is this http://www.trendingcentral.com/aol-p...ntary-ransack/

A couple of UKIP MPs in Parliament would not be so ridiculous IMO.

I agree, in fact I'd go further. Let's have PR and a parliament that properly represents the will of the people

I suspect UKIP will get a seat or two
And that's the beauty of democracy, you have connect with the public and speak about real issues that affect people, which like it or not, the perception is, that UKIP do do
Personally I don't agree with pretty much anything they stand for, apart from Farage,s obvious love of the great British pint
But there you go
