Incompetence or lying?
The head of HR for the BBC claimed she did not know of an email about huge payoffs, now admits she did. Not really the model for someone at the top of their profession. Is it credible that she didn't understand the question or is it simply another attempt by some slimy public servant to weedle out of awkward questions?
She should go immediately at best (with NO payout) or even better be charged with perjury (although it probably doesn't apply to PAC evidence unfortunately)

lying -- these people (not just in the public sector) should have all their pension entitlement wiped out for this sort of stuff
that would really focus the mind
