Default Ebay question

Is there a definitive amount of time I have to wait after an item I have sold can be relisted due to the winning bidder never being in contact.

I know I need to raise a non-paying bidder dispute with Ebay to ensure i don't pay the fees, but I want to relist it as soon as I can and I can't find a definite answer on Ebay.

I would personally give them a week. If after that still no contact i would raise a dispute and relist. A week is ample time for someone to get incontact.

It depends on when you open a non paying buyer case.
I would only re-list it when you know that the case is closed.

Last time I had this I opened a dispute through Ebay. They give the buyer so long to respond (was only 3 days I think?) and if the buyer does not respond then they close the case.

You can then offer it to the next highest bidder or re list the item

If you re-list the item they just don't charge fees on the previous sale.

Hope this helps.

Waited about 7 days as he did not reply to any PM's or the invoice I sent so I just opened a dispute.

As Big G says you can do it anywhere between 2-32 days so if he is not responding just open a dispute.

Sooner you do it sooner you can sell it again.

Thanks, much appreciated Ebay seems to contradict itself in its own help pages so good to know from people who have done it 'for real' so as to speak.

It's been 4 days so will give him another day to respond to my message asking when he is going to pay and will open up a dispute. Why the hell anyone would bid on an item they don't want is beyond me.

Beyond me also.

However i did sell a broken xbox a few months back, buyer paid for it and messaged me as to when he could collect.

2 months later he has still not collected or responded to any messages. Still sitting in a cupboard but will not get rid of it incase he messages me. Why oh why?
