Default Lubricating a wiper linkage?

Having broken mine on the Astra, I've sourced a new one off ebay.
Cleaned it up and ready to fit if it stays dry tomorrow, but do I need to lubricate it?
If so, where and with what?

I have Screwfix spray pentrant grease, ordinary grease, copper slip and oil.
I don't rate WD40 as a lubricant.

On the basis it's a Vx part, I'd say just put a bit of ordinary grease on the pivot points. I had the wiper linkage seize on an old corsa and it's a right pain in the ****.

Proper grease IMO.

Anything that is thin won't last 10mins and probably just wash off any grease already on the linkage (which admittedly is very little).

For awkward to reach stuff this is my preferred choice: http://www.wurth.co.uk/technical-che...hhs-2000-500ml

It comes out thin so gets into the nooks and crannies, but it dries as a grease so gives longer lasting lubrication.

Yeah. All the wd40 we had to use to free it up made it a tad slippery
