For anybody in the Manchester area

Looks like the Antonov is paying a visit to Manchester tomorrow !!!

From the Manchester Airport site --

You'd be a bit annoyed if you'd left an open packet of skittles in the cockpit when it's opened up to load lol

One of these throttled up on the runway parallel to the M1 as I came off the A42/M1 sliproad once , I had not seen how close the East Midlands runway was. But FMOB's it nearly caused me to soil my Y fronts.

If it was the 225, there is only one....there is a 2nd one that's been part built for about 25 years but has never been completed. I always assumed there was a fleet of the 225 aircraft, I was surprised to find out there's only 1.
There's about 30 or so of the smaller 4 engined 124 in service.

It didn't fly my way today
But tomorrow it should fly near my pad at 10.00am, fingers crossed.
