Hi folks

I am looking at buying an air-con manifold from a supplier in the states (not for my scooby) but concerned about the import taxes that would need to be paid (if any).
The item is small and made of alluminium and should be no more than 1kg in weight.

Is there anyone on here that imports items from the state that can give me a rough idea of costs and do you go about paying them?

I believe its worked our on the price you pay, so the more it costs the more import taxes you face, plus other bits and bobs our government like to screw us out of

Do you know what sort of price I would be looking at though? Or where I can find a comparison?

I think I found the costs and if I read it right I would be looking at 2.5% on top of total costs. So shouldn't be too bad
