Disagree, didnt he write a daily political article for a newspaper a few years back? As I say he is an intelligent bloke. Wouldnt mind betting he can put a great argument together for the ordinary person tonight. Looking forward to it.
Just watched the video posted above, has a great way of wooing the ladies with a brave front that would see most of us mere mortals slapped.

I clocked on to him a few years ago, he is a very very intelligent bloke, and all done off the cuff, extremely well read too.
He's about as sharp as they come, but plays it down so as not to overly intimidate, but there aren't many rooms that he would not be the smartest in.

I know plenty of people who are really nice that can't put a serious debate together. Let alone brush their own teeth.
Her opening comments about bankers being blokes and if women were in charge there would never have been a problem...WTF. Someone needs to get back in the kitchen, women didnt fight for equal rights for people like that to come out and think theyre superior.

Why have Brand on Question time? I didn't watch it all, but every time he spoke, not much sense came out. Playing to the crowd, and trying to be funny... Failed.

his written word is certainly better than his spoken
he came over as spouting populist clap trap to me (in a ridiculous accent)
thought I was watching Pirates of the Caribbean at some points

I think he vacillates between being entertaining (he's a real character although the beatnik thing is a bit naff if you ask me) and annoying ..... with the latter it's usually because he's flogging a dead horse and refusing to stop from a comedy perspective or he's being a bit condescending intellectually *whispers* or that he's got more ***** than James Bond and Jim Morrison put together!
Having a good brain (or any other positive attribute) is a bit like having a dick: Great to have it, good to be proud it it, but it works better if you don't shove it down people's throats.
