I agree.
Though citing Abu Qatada as an example of how to play the system seems a bit off.

I don't see the problem with using Abu Qatada as an example.

If Thereas May and Cameron had any spine they wouldn't be able to..... as it is the manual is only pointing out what a soft touch we are when it comes to the welfare state which we are so fair enough

If you want to aim your criticism at anyone try both this and the previous government.

The good thing is it all helps play into Farage's hands

yes interesting

similar to the action the EU are taking against Spain -- who are not honouring reciprocal rules regarding hospital/medical treatment that should be free and available to UK citizens when on holiday in Spain

Some horror stories of holidaymaker’s being landed with £1000 worth of completely erroneous medical bills, partly because they did not know what they are entitled too

As you say PeteBrant, presumably the Express would like this information kept secret, although I suspect they would still be “outraged”

Because they know “outrage” sells papers to idiots
