she is doing it full time - she has replaced either suzi or otis (or both !!)

 

They got rid of Suzi and Otis & Bentley and made some stupid decision to go on tour which was utterly rubbish with Jason and Ms Fake Enthusiasm Polly. So they got Rachel in and John back and returned to a studio. Really obvious they're trying to hard to have chemistry between Jason and Rachel that seemed quite natural between Jason and Suzi.
Will give it a go this series to see if it can improve (fingers crossed).

 

Otis was a waste of space ! TV producers need to realise that the Top Gear cocking about format has had its day on Top Gear, let alone on a show lacking the chemistry JC/JM/RH share. For a few years now I've watched TGS on catch-up, fast forwarding to Bentley's informative reviews and ignoring everything else apart from a lingering glance if Suzi or Polly had a particularly short skirt on. They ruined Fifth Gear by having too many 4th rate presenters and trying to spice up car reviewing with cocking about that was rarely entertaining in the slightest. If they'd stuck with Tiff, Plato and Tom Ford, and been more factual and informative they might have made a decent show IMHO. Driven on C4 went the same way, when will they learn ?

 

The gay brigade will be on here soon, claiming that Rachel Riley is a plain Jane, tubular, ugly, 12 years old, same old bollox! The rest of us know otherwise

 

What I don't understand is that neither Polly nor Rachel for their knowledge of gadgets and technology, so why not just have them dressed in, shall we say, nicer clothes that embody why they've been hired?

 

I thought Otis was Ok - but i was doing the same as you, fast-forwarding to Bentley and keeping an eye out for a short skirt ....... : I stopped watching the series when they were out of the studio. Now it is back, I shall give it another try. Good job they had the sense to keep Bentley on.

 

Got the edge over Oh Carol, but she is 20 years her junior?!

 

Agreed, never even bothered watching as the bit I did see was dire. At least they have returned to the old format so here's hoping its better.
