Is it just me, or are girls f*cking expensive?

Is it just me, or are girls f*cking expensive?
When I was single, I found it hard to believe that girls would be expensive, or have much of an effect on finances and things, etc..
I've been with my girlfriend for over a year (I love her of course), but since dating, it has been a lot more difficult to save money for nice things that I personally want.
For example, the first thing is travelling in order to see each other. We both live at home still and are separated by an 18mile drive; we visit each other about 5 times a week and take it in turns to drive. We are planning to eventually live together (plus I work from home), so driving expenses should hopefully be a little easier by then, but for now, it's costly.
The wanting to eat out/go to restaurants together can sometimes get a bit too much. I enjoy eating out, but I'm just as happy to sit at home together with a nice steak, instead of paying £30 each for a meal out, plus costs getting there. (We always split bill).
Another thing is all the places/trips/days out that she wants to visit and experience. We are going to have an awesome holiday to Morocco this year (5 star all-inclusive), but she still wants to go away on a little break or something similar, which is going to cost more money. On top of that, she also wants to go to Africa, Brazil, etc in the next couple years I would of course love to do this, and one day I'm sure we will, but for now it's just a bit difficult because how is anyone meant to save?
Basically, all these examples are things that I could afford to do, but I'd rather save some money (for the future and things that I personally want) and when I tell her no, she gets funny with me! I hope I'm not the only one here....

You need to show her whose the boss and who wears the trousers in your house mate, book the holiday then she won't have a say in it, if she doesn't want to come to Bognor Regis with you then youv'e had a result, a weeks peace and quiet and no nagging.

How old are you and you've just worked this out?
Wait till they want kitchens done and then kids. Single women are just the warm up before kids rinse you for the rest of your life!

The best thing to do is ditch her, then post naked photos of her on here.

Do it and spend your money on your car instead seriously though its finding the happy medium, cut down on the meals out and holidays away. The more you shell out the more she'll expect. No disrespect but she sounds a wee spoilt, if she loves you then she'll compromise
