I will show this to my wife. I said lets use the money she got from her being ill to buy a GTR - one of the doctors has a white one. No she said and we bought a house.

Would have to be a f*cking big house to get that sort of reaction out of me

He let his son launch it in the video. You could tell his knuckles were white gripping that steering wheel.

For me it's the ultimate. I understand its not everyone's taste. But my god I would give my right nut for one.

Haha, I love reaction videos.

Loads of Scooby ones with 2X year olds and their Mums getting scared ****less.

What's with the "turn off the AC and wind down the windows" thing?

I imagine it'll be a bit like going from average car to a scooby, after a time you'll wonder whether there maybe more to getting in a car than chucking away loads of cash getting to 60 mph in 1,2,3.

( and in this case having the car do everything else for you, inclusive )

Yeah I have to say - "keep your foot on the brake until 4kRPM and then let go" isn't exactly my idea of a launch...

some of the GTR's (2009 - 2011) are almost the same price as the R34 GTR (1998 - 2002)

I might wait till they drop to 30k and go get one!!

lol no it doesn't. Even a scooby is intelligent enough to disable the AC under full load.

Awesome cars, but would be scared to buy one out of warranty.

Would love a R34 GTR, but they are going up in value still.

The consumables aren't cheap either. 2k plus for disks and pads all round!

Isn't the driver in the first clip Jeff Goldblum? When he was on Top Gear, I thought he wanted an Evo....

Perhaps his choice of words wasn't good enough.
To launch the GTR (I've done this in a mates 2012 model).
You enabled R mode, left foot on the brake, right foot - bury the accelerator.
Revs hold at 4K, and within a few seconds of putting the accelerator through the floor, release the brake and you go off like a scalded cat.
