Going to start a little session tomorrow as season 1 just finished in the states

 

If you like violence and fanny its class.

Not really believable but it is quite entertaining.

Plus the Amish girl is stunning, worth watching just to see her get her chebs out tbh.

If you like American TV series the first episode of Hannibal has also aired in the states

 

got Hannibal now so going to watch that later, watched 1st episode of banshee and very impressed liked the sauce bottle down the throat bit

 

Just got the first few episodes, got me intreagued. Whats Hannible about then? is it a Silence of the lambs spin off?

Just watched the first couple of episodes of Banshee and it looks good, especially Lili Simmonds Loving all these new shows with nudity, Spartacus, Game of Thrones etc.

 

Just finished watching Banshee last night.
I thought it was pretty good, although I thought he was going to go to the dark side with the albino reunion

 

I didn't like Hannibal. I love banshee kinda cool twist

 

Banshee is pretty good overall although I found some of the episodes to vary in quality.

The best was 'Wicks' which told in flashback how Hood coped in prison with the guys paid by Rabbit to make his life hell.

The worst was 'We Shall Live Forever' when Carrie had the fight with Olek for virtually the whole episode. It just felt repetitive and lacked any real tension!

8/10 for the show as a whole though!

 

I agree, plus it started with 'riding' scenes which all kicked off in the ending of the previous episode.

I have no problem with all the sex they show, but I do wonder what the purpose of it is in the first place.

 

I've been enjoying 'Strike Back' since finishing this. If you haven't seen it, it's about a military unit attached to the UK's intelligence service. The first season (6 eps) was OK, but since replacing the key characters and being taken on by Cinemax (who make Banshee) it really improved. Some good military action sequences and a bit of ******** in nearly every episode. Charles Dance shows up as the baddie towards the end of S3, and Rhona Mitra is always pleasing on the eye.
