I waded into a group of vino influenced wifey friends the other night, well 10 to be exact and I was quite surprised to find that the ladies had a 50/50 spilt when it came to the amount of grass there should be on the pitch.
I don't like lots of grass it needs to be nicely trimmed no more than 3-5mm in depth and a 20mm x 60mm strip formation, any more just gets stuck in my teeth
The best bit was I now know which of my wifes mates keep it trim
Doreen has never been a keen box-gardener, so I hoped to stimulate some interest in pruning with this gift. Fortunately, she was open-minded enough to try a few things out and some of the designs were a big success. Frankly, they are vastly superior to anything that Ray Mears' has to offer in his guide to 'Bushcraft'. My only complaint is that I often get completely lost in navigating through her reconstruction of the Hampton Court maze. By the time this foreplay is over and I'm ready for action, she's usually fallen asleep!
Shaven haven is a bit paedo IMO but seems to be all the rage in **** land. Apparently ;-)
the shaven/paedo comment reminded me..
When i was about 16 a workmate and myself had this discussion and he said the whole paedo bit. ...That evening young me and his then girlfriend were getting down to it as young people do, when the comment kinda pinged in my brain and made me pause for thought. When she asked "whats wrong?" i replied "oh nothing, just thinking about this bloke at work". . . .
