Airtickets rise for bigger people
An Asian airline has started the ball rolling for charging people based on their weight. The theory behind it isn't that bad as it would mean you would never have a baggage allowance as you just pay for a weight allowance for your seat.

This is sooooo right, I stood at the front of a Ryanair check in queue and had to pay £35 odd quid because I was two kilo's over my allowance and the "big fat bird" behind me must have been 20 stone who probably paid sod all.

If they charge by weight as proposed, are they going to install differing sized seats to accomodate skinny/normal/fat people? Will they just allocate seats as they do now?
I'm big-boned (fat b'stard) and 6'3" and its not the width of the seating that affects me, its the fact that once sat I'm wedged behind the seat in front due to length of my thigh (clarified for anyone who thought it would be me belly).......

You could always upgrade to business class
I recently travelled with someone who ended up punching the guys seat in front of him becuase he had the audacity to recline his seat
Needless to say I won't be travelling with him Again, ever
At last we're headed in the right direction. Rail and bus next
