Default Too awesome! Found my dads car mag from 1975

As stated came across this little beaut from way back when.

It's a brilliant read with things like the prices of cars, the 0-60 times (poor) and the mpg the cars used to have which we're sooo low but tbf fuel was pennies back then.

Here's a pic of what I still think has plenty of character and I would love to own one.

My well tweaked Mk1 Lotus Cortina with polished ports, larger valves and Cossie 1/2 race cams was no slouch I can assure you. The handling was outstanding and the performance was pretty impressive,even by modern standards.

Wish I still had it!

Reading what I can see of the article, the road tester's car that Toyota replaced was a classic too. Very handsome beast the Opel Manta 'A' Series.

There was loads of others will get them out and see some others.

Audis four door saloon brand new was £3495. Wish they were that cheap now lol

But at the time that was the cost of a 3 bed semi Now cars are much better value than houses.

hmmmm - is that because cars have got cheaper or house prices have gone unaffordably insane for most...

Certainly would be Chip, it was first registered in 1963/4 I think-it was one of the very first ones anyway. I was the second owner.
