Default Painted eggs

Seeing as its Easter I thought I would show these off.

Next to where I live there are some elderly peoples bungalows. Years ago my mum was walking by them on here way home and come across an old woman in the garden who was quite distressed.

The electric in her home had gone off.

At the time my dad was an electrician so my mum called him to go help. He fixed the problem for them, it was only a minor problem.

As a thank you the lady's husband who was in his 80s painted these for me. They must be about 25 year old now.

It would be amazing if they were still alive so that they could see you've still kept them.

Fancied breaking one open yet?

Its a standard practice on the Continent to paint Easter eggs, My Austrian mother used to do it. They did look really good too, especially to a young child.
