Default Bacon thread.

Thought I'd share this with you all....

I've never tried smoked bacon with brown sauce and have to say it was nasty. Keeping to ketchup.

Proper smoked bacon, not the dipped in smokey flavouring stuff they sell in supermarkets is awesome.

100% got to have ketchup with mine.

2 slices of lightly toasted bread with clover applied.

4 rashers of Bacon (I'm not fussed what type, it's all bacon to me and I'll eat any variety).

Nicely cooked in a frying pan; none of the grilled "healthier" crap. I like mine cooking in it's own delicious fat.

Slightly crispy.

Occasionally will get the other half to make me it.

I found it was the best intermediate between margarine and butter. Margarine too soft, but butter too bloody hard out of the fridge ...and I like it cold kept in the fridge

A better intermediate may be that spreadable butter stuff they sell nowadays.

I've never liked smoked bacon. Either sauce is fine with me.

I prefer to toast my bread though

Warbutons Toastie, toasted until golden, Lurpak, Heinz Ketchup and three rashers of quality smoked bacon, fried until very crisp but not burnt, optionally a fried egg and an extra round of toast in between if really hungry/greedy/hungover.
