Default When the Evo FQ400 was on top gear

They said the top speed was 187 mph from memory, do you think that a JDM Spec C Bugeye running 440 BHP would hit the red line in sixth (on a long enough runway) my rough calcs say it should be doing 180 just on the 8k mark.

From memory I think with it being the JDM short ratio 6th it's around 168mph @ 8k RPM, With the UK going to the 180ish, Could be wrong but I've read it somewhere.... I think

Thanks Gaz I was using the simple formula of doing 90 at 4k revs. I believe the car has a taller 5th and 6th gear. Just wondered if the power was enough to get to 180 before it ran out of steam. Andy

There is no way a 400bhp evo would do an actual 187mph gps speed. Evo's on MLR need nearly 700bhp to get close to that
