Hello

I have an A300 which was originally on one 2 one but has now been unlocked and is now used on Cellnet.

Although I can hear people fine, the person who I am talking to often has trouble hearing me, saying that I am very faint. I dont think it is due to the network as other people on Cellnet with A300's cant hear me but I can hear them.

The other party cannot hear any background noise until I speak and open up the noise gate, and immediately after speaking it mutes any background noise. It is a very fierce gate.

Does anyone know if there are any codes to, say, operate EFR.
and when used on different networks, are there different profiles
that have to be changed, i.e, Cellnet and Orange. If so how?

Thanks

I have an A300 with no sim lock and it works fine on all networks. Have you tried someone elses sim card for another network to see if you still have the problem?

Hi

I've tried it with an Orange sim but could not replicate the fault. What network was your A300 locked to before you unlocked it and what network do you now operate on?

Thanks a lot

ernie,

My phone was bought out of contract sim free so it was never locked down. I mainly use it on One2One & Orange.

Si.
