Default Anyone had cold/flu for ages?

I've been suffering for over 2 weeks now. Twice it has faded away, only to return with a vengeance! Wtf i've not experienced this before. To top it all off yesterday i had the squirts all day, then puked last night . Not puked for years!

Skoob. I was in bed with flu over new years, proper sick! with vomit and bad gut ache.

a week ago I got a little sniffle but can not shift the cough. I'm in for a full medical soon so lets see what they say...

Two weeks ago I had a cold that was purely in the nose really. Just a lot of sneezing and that. Didn't lay me low at all apart from one day. Last week it seemed to go and I thought good that wasn't too bad. Yesterday I suddenly gat a really sore throat and now I have a full on return of something wth a tickly dry cough/chest tight and feel worse this time. I can't work out if I just caught a different one or it's the same one making a come back. I can't recall ever having 2 colds in quick succession or one making a return before.

Bloody strange that's for sure

if you believe that the government say in their recent advertising campaign you might have cancer... but hopefully not. Herself had a cough and had been wheesing on and off for month's but the Doc's just kept giving her anti-biotics and steriods and all they did was make her put on weight, eventually it got so bad that she called an ambulance and she was admitted to hospital and it turned out that she had Broncitus in both lungs, so they kept her in for a week and when she showed signs of recovery they sent her home with anti-biotics and steriods. She has been in and out of hospital for the last 4 month's but still has the cough and rattle in her lungs and she will probably be back in again in the future.

Had the flu (as in the real flu) over xmas was in bed for several days unable to move let alone get out of bed. Carried on for a bit on and off for 10-14 days. Felt like carp. After another couple of weeks I got better, but still felt a bit off. Still not fully back on food like I was and I have a sniffle that wont go away still - thats 8 weeks now.

I am getting the flu jab this year!!

Loads of it down here; I broke my immune system last year (for a year!) but it seems to have come back again; dodged this one so far.

I've had a "cold" for most of the last six months. My nose is either blocked or runny. I've at best, had two weeks over the six months where I felt fine.

I'm prone to flus and colds. I only went for two walks lately on good nights, and I had a terrible head-cold type of headache the next night. I was so bad with it that I nearly cancelled my work the next day. Sh!te, innit? I wish I were made of steel or something.

I love those who ring in or email work saying, "I've got flu so won't be in today", then turn up a day or two later. Flu my ****.

I had more sleep over the last 24 hours (not all in one go) than Rip van Winkel.
Today I feel fine, all symptoms gone. Crazy

Had a cold for months, and could i shift the bugger, always sniffling everywhere drove me spare.

Oddly what knocked it for six, was a hefty chest infection and flu, seem to have killed the cold stone dead

So for now im fine, speak too soon......
