Thumbs up Labour to introduce 10p Tax Rate ...

..... by taxing Mansions.

Seems very fair - squeeze the rich via something they cannot hide, their property.

The 10p rate will reward everyone, but will count most to those who are in need most.

We all know labour will win the next Election, this may be another reason to put your cross in the box for justice and equality.

another thing pete, why should they squeeze the better off to pay for the work shy benefit society THEY created.

i got an education and a decent paid job, why should i get penalised to pay for the scum that got pregnant at 16 to get a flat or make up a disabilitity to avoid work??

I pay many £1,000's a month in Tax alone ...... I still think it's a winning policy.

Also, make the jobless work in the community for their benefits - clean the streets, tidy the elderly's gardens, ect.

I like the disability tests ..... it makes me laugh that those protesting against these tests are in wheelchairs - it's not them who are targetted ....... but the fat lazy gits who have bad backs due to them being lard 4rses!

but it doesnt seem to be working does it, all the made up disability people do is go to an assesment and claim they cant walk more then 2 paces or pick anything up and they still get there benefits, despite being able to drive and do most other things.

Get used to paying your tax pal as you will still be paying something even when you retire if you are contributing to a worthwhile pension fund.

how can they complain at £6.20 per hour, just devide how much they get in total each week by £6.20 min wage. so £76.00 jobseekers becomes 12.25hours stll plenty of time to look for a job and got to the pub/bookies

And those that need it the most can then spend that little extra they have on your £5 visits to what was once a free library service.

couldn't make it up

Yeah, because we all know that if you can drive, there is no way you can be disabled.

Where the hell are all these mansions because there must be a heck of a lot of them if the tax on them is going to pay for his new 10p tax band?

It's like neither him or ***** ever got past pre-school mathematics

What Pete has cleverly not mentioned is that Millipede and ***** were prime SUPPORTERS of Brown when he CUT the 10p rate........
They both said at the time that although there are always winnerrs and losers in any major tax shakeup, this was a fair change.....

Suddenly it's NOT fair?

What planet are these people on? And how daft does Pete think we are?

If Labour win the next election then our credibility in the world will go down the pan.

Miliband has next to no charisma, something essential in a world leader IMO, he'd look like the sick kid from school when stood next to Obama.
