I was stopped at red lights in the left lane, and as soon as they turned green i moved...and the camera flashed me...

i am more then 100% sure the light were green when i moved..also there was a police car in the right lane driving up and it did not stop as the light had changed..

Now if i get the ticket through can i contest it? will i need to go court for this?


just thinking ahead - as i was in my brothers car,...

Anyone know?

If you are adamant and something comes through, request the photo which should have the lights in the picture and should show green.

How can you be MORE than 100% sure ? It was either green or it wasn't. If you are going to bandy around impossible surities then it leads me to believe that you THINK the light was on green and you are a footy fan.

Lights were green there was a traffic police car on my right too..

Could it be an issue with the camera
and calibration?

Well if the the lights WERE green then you are 100% positive they were
You can't be 110% sure that is just impossible.

Are you sure there wern't 2 sets of lights? I mean the lights that turned green weren't just for the right hand lane to go forward/turn right only? And there wasnt a set that had a left turn green signal for the left lane?
Dont wish to worry you but I can only read into your description of how the road was layed out. Hope you get it sorted.

was it a speed camera though? it may of flashed the copper doing more than allowed speed caliberated for that camera.............

I am 99.9% sure if it was green you will be ok if you get a ticket just check the photo.

Although I am also 10.1% unsure if the copper triggered the camera to flash.

It was probably a system fault and when they see the picture they will know the light was green I wouldn't worry I very much doubt anything will come of it

Perhaps you were far enough forward to be very close to the sensor cable in the road.
