That's not technically the biggest claim by a loooong way, many PI claims these days are £1m+... highest payout for a single vehicle though.

Apparently he drives that car like a bit of a loon, so unfortunately it's no real suprise.

On Pistonheads they were calling him a hero for using it, they get a little star struck with celebs or people with hyper cars.

Expect he may be a bit more careful now.

They also say he's worth £71m, so he shouldn't have too many issues.

Well no it isn't. It was not written off due to its value compared to the cost of repairing. That's one plus point with collectors cars, obscene values compared to repair costs/original purchase cost.
