The bird has completed a complicated jigsaw recently and we are wondering if anybody has hung their jigsaws on a wall.

Apparantly you can get a spray that seals the jigsaw to put into a frame or even just brush glue over it.

Anybody got any ideas or has anybody ever done it themselves ?

Thanks

I expect you could turn it over and use spray mount to stick it to some card and frame it ?

Wouldn't you be better off cutting the picture out of the top of the box, and framing that? None of those nasty saw-lines in it then

sad that I know this but you can get a puzzle fix glue (looks like the old Gloy containers you used to get in school) with a brush - it simply brushes over the top, dries clear and allows you to pick the puzzle up as a semi-stiff object, making it easy to slide into a frame. quality jigsaw shop or one of the online suppliers should be able to help.

When we finished one, we just got a frame of the right size and hung it on the wall...

Get one of those two piece perspex frames (two bits of perspex with bolts in the four corners). I use them for posters. They will compress and hold the jigsaw in place and you can take it out and replace it or do the jigsaw again if you want.

Nice modern look on the wall too.
