It's completely disgusting. Those who feed these behemoths should be nicked for abuse.

Roll her in flour and then look for the claggy bit.
When you go down on her and need to stop and answer the phone, use a bookmark to find the right fold again.

The lady who was admited for 3mts and subsequent treatment cost would likely run my service for at least a year covering half a million people.....mind you I have never saved a life with my treatment.
The NHS has a lot of thinking to do.............

Yes, it is almost like sorry, you are ****ed, but doctors are duty bound to help anyone and everyone. All that money and effort spent on one individual who, realistically is screwed every which way even if they lose weight. Destined to be a burden the rest of her life, the problem with our society is we have becoem divorced and isolated from cause and effect, for the consequences of our choices, the NHS says "There there, we will make it all better, for free" and they just lap it up in a contented Bovine manner whilst others have to get up and go to work for less and less reward.
I found out last night a mate I had lost touch with had died at 45 of a heart attack, in a twist of cruel irony, having been a "Big Lad" all his life, he lost a lot of weight and then had a heart attack, how that woman kept going I dont know.

In my opinion she was a prime candidate for not being eligible for free NHS bariatric treatment until and unless she loses weight. Why on Earth should my taxes go towards digging her out of her self-inflicted mess??

I know that most men would screw a hole in the wall if necessary, but nobody here is genuinely suggesting there'd be any way you could do anything to that "woman" other than put her out of her misery, please tell me??

havent seen this particular programme but have seen others with, no doubt, same sort of content. While the people in the programmes are in a bad way ,it seems that in this day and age ,comments about black people or other groups are frowned upon , even protected by law, but its ok to deride fat people. On friday nights, if not most nights, a&e hospitals up and down the country are deluged with people having too much to drink. my taxes pay for their treatment. at the chest clinic i used to attend , many people had problems due to smoking. my tax pays for that. but nobody on here has ever , from what i can see, had a go about those people

Oh i have. I massively have. Two weeks ago, maybe three. The thread will still be on NSR a few pages in. I don't miss out anybody who inflicts this sort of damage on themselves and expects to have all treatment provided with no charge. Few things boil my **** more.

yes pardon me. i remember that one. But again , it seemed that ,while other groups were mentioned, the overall views were aimed at overweight people in particular as if they were taking up 85% of the nhs costs

My wife works for the NHS and at a cemenar the other month listened to the results of a study that had proven it was cheaper to give over wei.. fat b*stards a minimum £10'000 gastric bypass operation now at its works out far cheaper than a lifetime of diabeaties drugs, studies had even shown certain fatties would leave hospital diabeaties free after the ops!
where do you draw the line?

There's always "a point". The problem is nobody can agree where that point should be. Human rights, civil liberties, judgments, appeals, inclusions, exclusions and so on and so on and so on. So the morbidly obese can eat that next portion of chips with little to worry about, the rules ain't changing anytime soon while we all wring our hands.

Just seen Coca-Cola's new advertisement. Unlikely it'll make it to the UK, but it focuses a lot on kids' weight, balanced diet etc. Which is a bit like McDonald's promoting their salads in my opinion.

True but then i believe that treatment of any illness or problem caused by self inflicted acts should not fall to those of us who take care of what we eat ect to foot the bill of their problems, they shoukd have to pay for it themselves, and if they cant afford it then tough they should of thought about that before the worst starts happening

i understand peoples apparent need for these procedures and , if theycan afford it, to go private, but if things go pearshape, they shouldnt rely on the nhs to get them out of trouble,
