My pal has one and its a lovely dog, follows him up and down the high street without needing to be on a lead, goes to the pub with him etc. Its the calmest best behaved dog I have ever known.

they are excellent dogs and very intelligent, mine was a nightmare until he was 2. chewed everything despite having loads of toys and exercise. hes really chilled out now and well behaved. cost a fortune to feed them all though, going through 2 kilos of food a day!!! and dealing with the aftermath of those 2 kilos of food is a full time job!!!

I used to own one, crazy dog as well, he acted more like a kitten, wanted to cuddle up on the sofa etc, yet when he had to be, he was the dog he looks like ! He loved to chew on an old car tyre, i did want to harness him up and get his strength up but didnt due to his condtion. Mine needed our little jack russel to spur him on as in a guard dog, the damn thing would sleep thru anything, but the awareness of the jack russel woke him then he`d be off barking and going mad etc, if they have a small companion, they are excellent guard dogs ha ha ha LOL
Ours had alot of complications, was born with a liver shunt so was on medication so wasnt as big as he could of been weight wise but still was hefty !
His downfall at the ripe old age of 4 was a half size empty corn on the cob !!!!
He ate this and was fine for 7 days so we didnt think too much about it, long long story short, it ripped his intestines or some internal part apart and even tho he was operated on, no joy :-( so keep those cobs away from dogs !
