I'm looking to you lot to answer this, as I cannot find an answer anywhere.

I'm currently with PlusNet, pretty happy with them - but, my 1/2 price broadband offer ends in 1 months time.

However, I pay my line rental 'up front' with one payment.

If I do the same again, and then later I leave PlusNet for a better deal elsewhere, what happens?

Does the new provider honour the 12 month line rental? Does PlusNet pay the new provider the unused portion? Do I lose it?

Anyone know?
