I have seen the Man V Food prog on the TV a few times, my god that guy can eat a lot of food. I mean, he is a larger bloke but still I have seen him eat 7 or 8 lbs of food.. how does he even fit it all in I dont know I would be sick! LOL.

My youngest reckons he's dead
Died after doing a challenge with some very hot chillies?

He is alive, but there was a case very recently where someone had some really hot food - and it melted their guts and they did indeed die. Not a fun way to go
He was on one of those Sunday morning cooking program's on CH4 not long back.
He was indeed. Sunday Brunch or whatever it’s called. I never watch it but the mrs saw he was on it so recorded it for me. He was teaching them how to prepare for eating hot food. Top tip was eat a couple of bananas beforehand. Doesn’t help with the spice but helps the next morning if you know what I mean
He was a couple of MvF episodes. I recall one where Adam was in a Burrito joint in San Diego where they did an 8lb burrito made from 3 massive tortilla put together to make one Godzilla burrito. The other guests wanted him to eat it but he was lined up to do a challenge the next day. Up steps Joey who demolished the thing in just 3 mins! He just bits and swallows at the same time and just doesn’t stop til it’s all gone. I have never seen anything like it.

Are you sure about that? Is there a story online about it?
I seen on a show that peppers aren't actually hot it's just the senses that tell us it's hot and the peppers trigger this sense
The heat sensation is caused by capsaicin, which is a colorless, odorless, oily chemical found in peppers. Capsaicin binds with certain sensory neurons which then more or less trick your body into thinking that it is being burned or at least experiencing excessive amounts of heat in the area that the capsaicin comes in contact with, even though no actual physical burning is taking place.
