I still remember when the round-up coverage was interrupted to show those scenes. Just didn't appear as if it was serious enough to trap and kill people. Wrong.

That was a bad day, it just didn't seem real. The fact I had a black and white telly in the front room just made it even more unreal. Sad times.

Seriously is that it? You won't be able to say anything at all soon for fear of annoying someone.

I am not being rude. He said a phrase that is used regularly in sport that so happens to include the word fire and people are relating it to an event that happened nearly 30 years? Blown out of proportion unless I have missed something else.

Hardly end of the world news is it. He used a popular phrase to describe the embarrassing beating villa were getting.

Sadly, the fire had perfect growth conditions which is why it spread so quickly. There was enough confinement to keep the heat in to escalate the blaze but enough ventilation to ensure the growing fire had enough oxygen.

The radiated heat was so intense, the clothes and hair of people on the pitch who had not been in the stand, was spontaneously combusting.

Try criticising Scousers about Hillsborough, on this site, and tell them to move on. That's an inflammatory remark to them.

Bradford v Swansea final? Who would have thought that!
I hope Villa score first in the return leg, otherwise the heads will drop again.

I think Michael Owen should just retire and concentrate on punditry and racehorses.

Spell it out for me then as you seem to be of the same opinion as me judging by your earlier post

If people are annoyed just because he said the word “fire” whilst speaking about Bradford then my opinion still stands. That’s like getting annoyed because someone mentioned “flying” when referring to Man Utd or “crowded” when referring to Liverpool / Sheffield Weds. There was no malice to it and has been taken totally out of context. If it was a recent event fresh in people’s minds then I could maybe understand.

99% of the time the offended are the ones that have the issue.

Lol all this because of Tel’s subtle use of humour and poor use of smilies

I'm surprised P1 didn't respond to this and corrected it

I don't know who's offended and who isn't, or who's spelling like a **** on purpose and who isn't.
