The best curryhouse on Brick Lane
OK guys - been to a couple of places in Brick Lane before and been fairly disappointed - I guess its luck of the draw unless you've had advice!
Planning on going there with the missus this Saturday night for a cuzza. Which is your all-time fave???

My favorite, the Lahore Kebab House, is near to Brick Lane.
Corner of Commercial Road and Umbertson Street.

I too can recommend the lahore kebab house. Went several times when I used to work for NatWest in Aldgate.
Edit: Great for a lunch time outing with the lads - not sure I'd take the missus

Been to Cafe Spice - but thought it overpriced for the food. Somehow "Curry" and "Posh" just dont seem to work :-)
Still go back to Cafe India on Alie St. (2 mins from Aldgate East Tube). Nice balance (imho) between good food/price/environment

Cafe Spice Namaste is very good although not the largest of portions. Being a common south Londoner did get some odd looks from the suits as the beer and noise started !!!
