Young Kiddies Driving ....
.... I'm talking the 'wet behind the ears' 20 somethings.
You know the ones, been driving less than a decade and think they know it all ... using mobile phones, texting and scratching their ***** while driving.
I believe - as a senior citizen - we should be protected against such idiots ... I would advise only being allowed behind the wheel at 30 years of age. Under that and they simply cannot drive properly!
Thank you for listening and your support in this matter.

hmmm, youngsters are predicatable mainly, drivie to fast, brake too late, but usually spotted to avoid.
the old un's have no rhyme or reason to beahviour- you cannot predict them and take avoidance action. they turn the wrong way into opposing traffic, dont know the size of there vehicle or have confidence in there ability, making erratic driving much more common.
both have issues that need addressed. - along with many others tbh

Well im 21. Drive a scooby. I wear a hat sometimes when it's sunny or low light as my eye's go all to **** now and again
Does that mean i cant park properly, Rev the living **** out of it at light's. Race anyone that i see? No. Worked bloody hard to be able to afford a scooby. And with fuel, insurance, tax , part's rate's as high as they are. I generally take it as carefully as i can.
When working behind bar's, biggest worry is amount of older folk drink driving. Even if it's a few beer's or a nip while at the farmers mart.
Does that make the older generation (30 up shall we say) a highlighted danger...No
You just get a lot of dafties!!

PS Lewis is a better driver than Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button, Sebastian Vettel..... Hell, PSL is even older than Michael Schumacher so better than him
Although, I agree about 16yo's on mopeds. I'd ban anyone from motorcycles of any sort until they've got at least 5 years in a car behind them, and introduce tuition, testing and licensing for bicycles too.

P.s it's not the drivers fault. It's the instructors.... When my wife was learning to drive the guy literally said "I'll show you how to pass the exam" she passed within 15 lessons and to be fair she hasn't crashed or done anything. Stupid.
I'm on the road daily and although I'm not sticking up for youngsters (we were all once) I see an ample amount of 30's 40's and 50's on the mobile. Even yesterday a proper old guy driving a huge lorry, turning right while doing the monouver he was on the phone and roll in the other hand.
They need to bring a system out that when your in a certain area it limits the car to a set speed. Same with phones. Make every car have a build in hands free

I agree to a certain extent but thats a bit unfair. They should do it the same way as bikes are due to be done. For example between
17-21 they can not drive a car above 1.6
21-25 they can not drive a car above 2.0 n/a
25 upwards there unlimites
If you was gonna say no one can drive till there 30 watch the unemployment go up as thats most of us stuffed to get to work as well as having to drive for a living

I know it's another thread from PS but...
That's a very reasonable compromise. I'm under 30 and I can't stand people on their phones.

Mr Lewis have a look at the thread I put up yesterday about older people driving because I would rather follow a pi55ed up teenager than the old bloke who nearly wiped me out yesterday

True, there are some idiots under the age of 25, but it's wrong to accuse all young drivers of being stupid.
I have seen daft events of the streets both male & female and all ages.

I thought insurance premiums more or less took care of that?

anybody should be able to drive anything they can afford and want to, old people (people over 30) shouldnt be allowed to drive quick cars cause theyre reaction times are too slow haha
