Too much of a coincidence for it not to be, always could be underlying condition that the stress of the **** up caused it, saying that though nursing isn't a stress free sort of job

Exactly.
There comes a point when practical jokes go too far over the line.
I fear this is the case here.
I agree, on the surface it looks like an overreaction which the perputrators could never have predicted would happen. I don't blame the DJs for this, however they must be guilt-ridden right now.
Very shocking. I hate prank call/wind up shows and won't watch the ones on TV. I could just about cope with Dom Joly's giant squirrels and that's about it. DJ's must resign surely?
Blame is the last emotion that I feel at the moment, for what ever reason caused this womens desperate last act, there are 2 kids with no mum tonight.
That I find very sad.
Tragic, but, ffs, most people can take a joke, there must have been underlying issues for someone to take their own life based on being tricked by some Australian DJ's, I suspect she may have been slightly delicate but also probably made to feel terrible by her management for the Faux Pas and could see no other way out.
The sad thing is, it was a wind up, she got caught out and thought she was doing the right thing but the royal connection turned it into a minor media frenzy.
I doubt it would have had as much effect on her , if any at all , if the press hadnt have made such a big deal of the phone call . Radio pranks happen all the time , yet the press made out that the call was the worst thing in the world. I wonder how many reporters try to bluff their way through the phone system to get a bit of info ? They were just spiteful coz they didnt get there 1st.
Really sad news. I'm sure Oz dj's will feel terrible and never would have expected this kind of outcome. Hope senior managers at hospital weren't laying the blame on her shoulders. Poor children with no mum for Christmas.
Wouldn't giving out a patients personal details be a sackable offence, maybe she couldn't take that. Very sad news though especially for her two young children.
