Unlocking a iPhone 4

Is it easy to unlock an iPhone 4 thats on with Tesco and O2
to work with a Vodaphone sim.

Will it allow the updates from Apple ?

The phone is currently brand new and never been used.

Do you have a contract with tesco/o2 if so they will unlock it for you

I'm on vodaphone.

It's a new phone for the wife.

Get an O2 PayG sim and for £15 O2 will unlock it for you.
