Thumbs down The Floods and The Un-Insured ....

Now, I'm a reasonable man - as you all know, full of generosity, care and charity ....

However .......

What the hell is all this about a fund to help those out who are uninsured in the floods??

Someone, some idiot, decides not to insure themselves against flood - would rather spend it elsewhere (****? Dogs? Booze? Bingo? Tattoo's?) - and the insured amongst us are asked to bail them out???

Get the **** outa here!!!!

When will the world start taking responsibility for their actions? The world is full of whimps these days .... kiddies (those under 30) haven't got the ***** of my generation!!!

Rant over, thanks for listening ........

I know you're only having a rise, but some of those uninsured we're once insured.

Until the last lot of floods hit them, and now they can't get insurance.
Hardly their fault, I feel.

The Government and ABI had an agreement to insure ALL properties!!!!!

Every property is insurable against flood damage ...... so, your argument doesn't hold water.

It's a choice thing ... would rather go to the dogs or Bingo - *** in hand and then a pint and tattoo afterwards!!!

Re-nationalise the water companies.
Then the PROFITS they are making could go to pay for flood defences, instead of rich shareholders?

When i look at a property I check to see if there is a flood chance and the decide to move in or not.

I would ALWAYS Have insuance. If people don't have it and so eyeing happens then Tough! They shouldn't get a handout.

Do I get a hand out when I Need poo roll?

I don't know, sounds unlikely though.

I wouldn't like to compare the suffering of people who have lost everything with you taking a dump though

The elderly have insured their property every year for over 60 years ...... they will continue to be insured.

If they cannot afford Insurance, then sell that cottage by the river to someone who can!

No insurance? Tough luck, your choice and your loss .... don't knock on my door with a begging bowl ........... !!

Ok here's one , I renewed my house insurance online with Loyds ( and payment taken )
Just before i went away
3 week later on my return there was a letter saying sorry we could not start you're policy because we need a few more details

Now as far as I was concerned my payment was taken and I was insured
What if my house burnt down , or burgled while I was away

My fault ?

You sort it out well before your holiday ....... jeeeeeez is everyone an idiot?

Your renewal comes through 1 MONTH before expiry, you sort it then - no excuse!

If you don't and get caught out - AGAIN, YOUR FAULT!!

Pleeeeeeeze when will every numpty stop looking around for someone else to pick up the pieces because of their bad choices!!!

It's about time we stood for our decisions, good or bad!

It was probably covered just not active as more details were required to confirm and activate.
At least you went about getting insurance, it's the people that haven't bothered that bugs me, do they think it's not going to happen to them.
I've had home insurance scince I left home, if I was renting then I would have contents and now it's my own I have building and contents, that's just how you live, please explain this to the uninsured folk ffs

Yeah it's the same as all those without health insurance in the US, you get ill, that's tough. It obviously their fault for not being able to afford it.

I think you are actually enjoying the suffering of these people, you are a self centred and wholly unpleasant individual

oh and an imbecile
