Was that the one where he relayed the story about the do they had with The Sex Pistols?
Great performer, one of the best ever. The video to The Show Must Go On is a heart wrenching epilogue.

Wow, it has been 21 years since! It was the year I arrived in the UK when Freddie Mercury died. The reporting evidently showed how strongly his loss was felt across the nation and beyond. I remember seeing ample TV coverage on his life around that time. He was so deteriorated at the end, and still performed on his last legs.

Great performer, great music.

Amazing performer. I know someone that worked with him and he was also a very lovely and generous person as well.

never really "got" him tbh - or Queen for that matter

I did live near him when growing up though, and once saw him and Cleo Rocos driving into his house

Amazing clip, thanks for posting.

I remember during rehearsals for the Wembley tribute concert they were talking to Roger Daltrey.

He said they had to sing a few of the songs in different keys because some of the guest singers were struggling to match Freddie's full range.

RIP Freddie, master showman.

I always find myself opting for live at the Bowl '82 or Montreal '81. Unbelievable vocal performances

Apparently Freddie never liked the track below, but I couldn't get enough of it in my early teens; he absolutely batters his vocal chords!

Never liked him or his music. Just goes to show how different people's musical tastes are.

Just never liked Queen. I never got David Bowie either....but people seem to think he's a genius.

Just goes to show how we have different we all are I suppose.

I know the guys that make up this tribute act; Have seen them play countless times and never tire of it, simply because I love the music of Queen and they replicate it so well. They have been at it for 25 years, so they are getting the hang of it!
