Talking Activision Customer Service

Phoned them on Tuesday to tell them my son's Skylander Portal of Power which was bought for him last Christmas had stopped working.

Today a brand new Portal arrived by courier.

Excellent service!!!

Nice one. I am of the mind that good customer service should be applauded with equal vigour that bad is lambasted. Plus I have a soft spot for Activision having been weaned on their titles during my youth.

Tomy, are another company with excellent customer service,

I bought a scalextric type thing from a car boot, and after using it for a couple of hours, the main power connector part of the track melted.

I phoned Tomy, explained that it wasn't new, and could i purchase a new section of track.

They sent a replacement part FOC

Silvercrest (Lidl cheap-*** electronics brand) got one of their sterios for the work van. Went faulty after 9 months and contacted them by email. THEY sent a courier to pick it up , and 2weeks later THEY sent a courier with a brand new one. Didnt need to leave the house FFS the thing only cost me £30 in the first place !

I bet none of the big brands would do that.
