Question What's Knutswood Like?

I'm thinking of viewing this property - I just don't want to get excited and then find out that the area isn't 'On The Up' .....

The Selling Agents are very keen for me to show some interest - well, the market is slow at the moment, isn't it?

So .... worth a view and offer, or not?

That would explain why motorcycles aren't allowed in it!

It has a McLaren garage, so not too far to go for your services

I've no idea where Knutswood even is but Knutsford (where the house in the ad is) is at the end of Manchester Airport's second runway and suffers from aircraft noise on a regular basis (despite the footballers suggesting that their money meant that flights should be diverted over the plebs elsewhere).

As speedking mentioned there's a McLaren garage in the town (it used to be a Rolls Royce garage and there is a historic connection as Sir Henry Royce was from Knutsford).

There are also very big classic car shows at Tatton Park.

Proplem for you Pete if you moved there would be that George Osborne would be your MP.

Nice enough stack of bricks, I would be happy if I could afford the running costs of a place like that.

It's actually Nutwood, without the 'K'.

There'd be plenty of room in that house for Pete and his 'friend' Rollo, the gypsy boy.

My buying agent has just reported back ..... apparently, the swimming pool doesn't have a deep diving area, which is one of my requirements really as I do enjoy a good dive.

She also values it at a few hundred thousand less than the asking ... so, the hunt goes on.

I'm sure your neighbours would be happy to club together to 'assist' with your move.

I bet you virtually empty the pool with a good dive!
