What the hell is wrong with people?
My cat has been out all day which is not like him so I went out to try and find him which I did!
He was lying under a bush in the garden half passed out with a plastic bag tied round his neck and a bad cut to his rear right paw.
At first I thought he had just got the bag caught round his neck, but it was double knotted!!!!
He is now at the vet being treated for shock and having stiches in his paw.
I very much believe in Karma and look forward to what will happen to the piece of human scum that did this.... if I have the chance to give Karma a helping hand all the better!

This sort of thing really angers me, anyone who abuses animals in this way needs putting down, and not in a good way
Hope he's OK

That's not good ...... looking at it from another angle, the bag could have been double knotted with some fish waste in (I double knot and double bag fish waste).
Could it be possible that he got into such a bag and couldn't get his head out, damaging his paw in the process?
I hope it wasn't an indication of the lower end of human kind - hope he gets better soon mate!

There are some really sick people out there.
Here's something really bad, my sister in-law's cat was shot at with a shotgun about 6 months ago.
Must have been very long range, but the vet remove 26 pellets from it.
Hope your cat recovers, although it will now learn not to trust strangers.

That said ... our neighbours cats come and sit by my pond - if they can they drag out a Koi ... chew on its head and leave it for me to find when I go to feed them!!

Thanks folks.
He is staying the night at the vets, but is doing well
As urban said hopefully he will now not be so trusting. The annoying thing I got him from a rescue centre and he had been maltreated as a kitten, but within 12 months of having him he had turned into a lovely good natured cat.
I just hope this doesn't set him back!
I'm not wasting my time thinking about the scum that did this - they are beneath contempt!

When I hear things like this I seriously wonder about what is between the ears of some "people?"......or indeed if they have a beating heart?
The coldness that must be running through their veins is quite frankly disturbing!

It sounds like someone close by has taken a dislike to your cat going on their property, same thing happened to our cat when I was younger but instead they just slit his throat

Got him back this morning and he is doing OK if a little subdued.
Thing is though I only have a few neighbours and they all know him and like him. He never goes that far from the house so I think that scenario is unlikely, but you never know.
I just hope for their sake I never find the person who did it!
