Did she have priviledged upbringing? Why is she dressed like a homeless person in the picture, then? The hippy hat; double gloves; duffle coat; overfed on the chippy food from across the pitch- the lot.
I do get what she is saying about the monoculturism on the name of multiculturalism, though.

I've visited Leicester regularly for the last 25 years and have never had a problem.
However, white people are now the minority.
No problem with that, it's just how it is.

I don't know what the fuss is about, to be honest. She should've asked Clarkson how to cause outrage, just when you happen to release a new book/DVD , that would've got her much more press coverage.

My family live in south Leicester and I go back every week, it's definity not the city i remember as a child. South Leicester isn't so much a case of 'white people are now the minority' - this tends to be north - hamilton, evington etc etc and as with any where you get your good parts and your bad parts.

Venture further afield however -villages to the north/east of the city - and you'll rarely see a non-white.

She is probably right, easy to look at it a pull a face, but we all do it, i.e. flock together with our "own kind", I live ina white middle class ghetto, trouble is the immigrant community, when in large groups tend to not integrate and to be honest this is our country and they are the ones that should be makign the effort to integrate more, they dont want to, they just want to get on with it, take the benefits and carry on as normal.

I'd actually go so far as to say the English are the worst of the lot, practically every country in the world has English enclaves where the residents refuse to learn the local language or assimilate the local culture in any way

Maybe we are too different, for example us English love our gardens but can always spot an Asian/Muslim house in a predominantly white area as they concrete it over, extend the house to the absolute limit and there will usually be at least 5 cars outside, not saying anybody is wrong or right, just different. We like Dogs but how often do you see Muslims with Dogs ? unless its some inner city wide boy with his Staffy or other image dog, it doesnt happen, in fact my wifes Muslim mate insists we lock the dog away from her and her son when they come round, pisses me off as it is his house !

As for dogs I'm with the Muslims on this one, I don't think most dog owners realise what a pain in the **** some of us find their canine buddies to be when they bark all day long or stupidly jump around slobbering excitedly all over you when you visit. Jacko is right though as it is their house hence why I rarely go round to my friends' places if they have dogs!

That's a point of view I suppose, but cleverly ignores the likelihood that in contrast, the Brit enclave abroad would typically be financially self-supporting and unlikely to be committing terrorist acts in the name of their chosen sky fairy. :-o
