Default eBay scammer?

So I find a Saab with a months mot n tax but it's only £250. I say to the seller put an mot on it and I'll pay £150 over his asking price and collect tomorrow....
He comes back saying £100 deposit and if it fails I'll get the £100 back!

So I go back and say; fine give me your PayPal and I'll send it not as a gift.. He says no no it takes 21 days to clear do a bank transfer to his account. Then left this email:rowanhirsch@gmail.com I say PayPal only and then google the email... African address

I think that, too. When he said it would take 21 days to clear via Paypal, you would think that he must be in Africa or on one of the poles of this earth. Anyway, lucky escape. Good that Rob didn't lose any money. I'd report the ****** to Ebay fraud department. Did you tell him that you were in the UK, Rob? If not, you don't have a leg to complain. He can say that he thought you lived round the corner from him in Africa, as you said you would go and collect.

Another thing, I don't think he is in Africa as he seems to know what MOT is; unless he is just copying and pasting from Ebay UK adverts on to his own scam adverts. Bleddy fraudian.

+1

Don't use Paypal gift unless you know the person. No comeback with Paypal if it goes **** up.
