Samsung phone: BACKdating the O/S?
Mate has a Galaxy S. He got a text message from Samsung telling him to update from Gingerbread to something else with a daft name with Gooogle in it, so he did.
Now he says it's unstable, stuff doesn't work properly, or crashes etc.
He SAYS that once updated, you can't go back.
Is this true? if not, HOW do you go back, please?

You can install whatever firmware you wish using ODIN and downloading the respective firmware files from somewhere like http://www.sammobile.com
