ORANGE - will their lies ever end?
I see that ORANGE are going back on their Free Broadband for Life Offer ..... !!
Although I didn't change to Orange when my Broadband deal ended - despite them ringing me every single day!!!!!!
I distinctly remember the Salesman saying that I could have Free Braodband FOR LIFE if I took out a Mobile Contract with them - an upgrade, if you like, as I have an Orange Contract anyway (for which I pay only for calls, no monthly fee). The Life meant the life of my contract, obviously.
I was considering that the deal was a good one - until my daughter got taken for a ride by these lying Salesmen ...... they promised her things which were totally untrue - luckily telephone calls are recorded!!
They must be up there with CURRYS as one of the very worst Companies to deal with as a Customer - in fact, worse than CURRYS - as CURRYS never lied - they just refused to honour my Lega Rights!
My advice is do not have ANYTHING to do with Orange!!

Never had a problem using them in past years. Perhaps they know you better than we do. They surely cant have a personal gripe.

Orange mucked me about with the broadband swapover. Never cancelled with BT and charged me 2 months advance rental. BT restricted me to incoming only until I paid them as well.
Still trying to get some money back from both.
Got totally sick of phoning for 35 mins wait time as well.
Orange are a joke - but the rest cannot be far behind.

ORANGE say they can vary the Terms and Conditions at will.

Does nobody read terms and conditions anymore?!?
The amount of people i used to have, when i worked for Orange, who would start ranting about everything we had done wrong to then find that it was in fact their ignorance that caused the issue.
Not saying this is you, but i just get a little bit wound up when people start pointing the finger because they don't like the outcome, when it's themselves who are in the wrong.

You're pretty slow aren't you?
I have a contract phone with ORANGE, they wanted to upgrade my Motorola brick (it's about 12 years old now and still giving good service, why change?).
The point most people are annoyed about is that the Sales patter was that you would get free broadband for the life of your contract ........ this is the next misleading selling scandal - and ORANGE will be liable for ££££millions (have they learned nothing from the Banks?).

That's true ..... but, in exchange for me staying with ORANGE they rewarded me with free Broadband - it's not beyond the realms of possibility, is it?
That's what was on offer.
Hell, I was with Freeserve .... that was free Internet - so, the model may work if they get to hold onto a customer on their mobile phone contract (on which they can lever higher charges).

I have a PAYG phone which fits my pocket.
I also have an 'Emergency' phone which sits in the car, this phone wouldn't fit a pocket or handbag ..... it is on Contract, called the Virgin match or something like that and costs me about 35p every 6 months. Yes, that WAS 35p!

they tried to get my auntie out of her free broadband deal, she told them politely to do one and moved carriers.
Shes not a massive user of broadband probably goes on once a week to do banking so the free one was ideal

is it this "emergency" contract phone that your broadband deal is (was) based on?
