I've just read a thread and agreed with a few of the posts but didn't want to fill up the thread with quotes and +1's. so I just wondered if something could be added so you just click on it to agree or disagree? I know this would probably have an effect on the number of posts but if they feel strong enough to comment they will other than simply quoting and typing +1

Another forum I use has a buy/spill a pint method, basically If you agree with a post then click on buy pint, simple really

We had a similar system a bit back where you could positive/negative a post. Guess what? It was abused by cliques on here or by people who simply didn't like other people. You'd have the cliquey types +ive people comments and those always falling out -ive comments, regardless of their content.

Doesn't work on here, especially with the way the marque has dumbed down into chavsville.

I think on the home page there should be a tab that takes you to all new threads and another tab that shows new replies to your threads or threads you have commented on - surley better then a million emails ?

If i remember correctly,we already had this some time back,it was got rid of though because it was being abused by certain members.
