Virgin Media V+ vs Tivio Box
I’m just about to give them a ring regarding an upgrade – has anyone used the newer box?
The old box has worked ok bar the odd recorded program cutting off 15 mins early.
Is it a worthy upgrade or am i doing myself in the eye.
Cheers

Virgin recently put my bill up again this year so I rang and said 10% of increases within 6 months was rubbish. Got an broadband upgrade, old V+HD box plonked in upstairs multi room and a new TiVo box downstairs for about £2.50-3.00 a month extra.
They wouldn't add to my existing discount so I basically got more for my money. Took a week to get used to but it's very good and I found the excuse to buy a new tv good top

Hello mate I have had the TiVo box since they first came out its nice to have does most things the only thing that it does not have is with the V+ box you can set reminders for the box to change over for a favoured program, you can't do that with TiVo you can only record but apart from that the TiVo box is a good piece of kit go for the 1TB version if possible.

Can't fault my Tivo box.
Look on Quidco and TopCashBack to see what the current offers are. It may be better for you to cancel, then sign up again through one of those to get 6 months half price and cashback.
Been looking at Sky Hd IP tv boxes lately. It would reduce or monthly bill by half.
