Going to see it this Friday.

Mrs is treating me to a night away in a hotel, cinema and a posh meal.
Nothing to do with the fact that I am 30 in the 19th!

Saw it this weekend as there was nothing else on worth seeing, sadly this wasn't either. If you are a fan of the first film it's very disappointing in comparison, if you haven't seen the first one it might not be so bad.

If you haven't seen it go and see Looper instead, a much better movie all round!

Will have a think.

I don't mind if Taken 2 is similar to the first one. I liked the first one.

Looper - the basic premise of the movie is that about 30 years in the future bodies cannot be disposed off without leaving traces of their disposal due to advanced tracking techniques etc. So miscreants are blasted back in time to be dispsosed of by 'loopers' who know where they will appear as they are informed 'from the future' and hence can shoot them as soon as they arrive, remove their pay packet (strapped to the victim's body in silver ingots) and dispose of the body. Occasionally a looper's future slef is sent back with a golden pay day and the looper has to kill his future self (this is called 'closing the loop') whereupon he knows he has 30 years to live. When a large number of looper's future selves start to be sent back the presence of the all powerful underworld boss, the Rainmaker, in the future is realised and when one future self escapes without being shot.... well you need to see the movie for the rest!

Shades of Terminator and not perfect, but a good film that bends your mind a little too!

Hoping to have a few beers in me as well. Always makes the film more enjoyable.

This! clever film and we thoroughly enjoyed it, it was either taken 2 or looper and to decide we went with which had a imdb rating

it was ****! they classified it as a 12 and had to cut out the action scenes..

amazing how his daughter who does not know how to drive ends up in a high speed car chase..and the dialogue during the chase were just a joke...

what a waste of money!

How exactly was it ****?

It was reclassified from 15A to 12A under appeal as far as I know.

His daughter does know how to drive, just hasn't passed the driving test.
Plus pops was helping out with some of the maneuvers

Taken again though? Has Liam Neeson been given parenting classes by the McCanns?

I think the adult version will see Neeson being Taken from behind!
